There needs to be action to help young drivers get discounted insurance. Some get put onto dads insurance as named driver. Still quite expensive. Get it in your own name? £2,000 or so. No wonder young drivers don't bother....
@Paytress One massive hit, number one, top then for 8 weeks, etc. People dashed out and bought the album the following week, and beyond. Number two! Again, Top ten for eight weeks!

@Fenceington I got a DVD with four episodes of The Monkees, my daughters enjoyed that.
Months later, we met Stella Mac in the wild, she was nice, and the girls remembered her.
A bit later on, I played "Help" DVD for them, pointed out Paul and said "That's Stella's dad" .

@Fenceington Well, we were living in Germany when the Beatles became a big thing, so had various UK styled LPs on "Odeon" which were pressed in Switzerland it seems, quite rare/pricy apart from we played them tons...
@MikeReadUK@smileymileyuk When my parents lived/worked in Hungary for a few years, the house was let out for the duration. The only thing that got lost/broken was my "Mike Read Tee-Hee Mug" - Pah! broken my foot! Went with the tenants, is my reckoning...
