This is a good cause - poor male mental health is a real problem but seldom addressed, with dire consequences.

If Powell or indeed any of the plotters nick Phillipson's job at education it will be a deep injustice and a real loss.
I will be mightily pissed off if this properly northern, properly brilliant, proper class warrior in every sense, is also binned off in the coup.
This has got to be London's most beautiful cafe. St Mary Aldermary on Bow Lane in the Square Mile. People pack out the chain coffee shops all around it, perhaps not realising they could be getting their caffeine fix in a Wren church.
Let’s be honest.
Reform and the far-right media didn’t force Starmer out because he was failing due to local elections losses
They forced him out because his policies were actually working, and that terrified them.
In just two years he
i - Lowered net migration legally
ii - Lifted hundreds of thousands of children out of poverty
iii - Passed the Renters’ Rights Act
iv - Pushed Britain past 50% renewable energy
Reform voters, happy with yourselves? Still celebrating removing the only adult in the room and our best PM in a decade?
Or are you starting to realise you got played, swapping real progress for the Farage circus
?
Brits, how long until the regret sets in?
Thank you @Keir_Starmer
If the Secretary of State responsible for social media regulation and oversight says X/Twitter "isn't healthy for our democracy or our communities" she should take more decisive action - not just leave the platform. 1/6 🧵
For years these clowns have screamed that Labour hates left-behind Britain. So Labour chooses a leader from left-behind Britain, and at once, and without a blush of shame, they scream that Burnham hates the south. Honestly, a distracted toddler could produce better journalism
Andy Burnham looks like he might cancel the NHS England contract with Palantir, they also have one worth 2.5x as much with the MoD.
RT if you want them both out of the UK.
🚨 Thames Water calls it an "isolated spill". We call it what it smells like. 💩💩
Last week, water testing at Fulham Reach Boat Club found E. coli levels more than 58 TIMES higher than the Environment Agency's threshold for safe bathing water. 🤢
Water companies are only supposed to discharge untreated sewage during periods of heavy rainfall. Yet the spills highlighted in this investigation happened during dry weather - raising serious questions about whether the law has been broken.
Londoners deserve to enjoy their river without risking their health. Instead, we're seeing the consequences of years of regulatory failure, underinvestment, and a water company that continues to put financial interests ahead of people and the environment.
Thames Water is no longer fit to run this essential public service.
It's time to place the company into Special Administration so it can be restructured to serve the public interest, protect our rivers, and end the cycle of pollution before profit. #SewageScandal
When an MP can pocket more in a couple of hours of “work” than a nurse earns in an entire year - as Nigel Farage has done - something is deeply broken in our politics.
This has to stop. It’s time to ban ALL MPs’ second jobs.
From my speech in Parliament today.
@RichardBurgon@HoldenJenefer I agree- second jobs should be banned once you are an MP. The latter is or should be a full time job. Though I do think we should have fewer. We are over represented

Half a century ago, as a young schoolboy, I must have written to Dame Penelope Keith - her very kind reply - which by curious coincidence surfaced yesterday and I tucked into a copy of Dame Eileen Atkins memoir "Will She Do? Act One of a Life on Stage" I found last week in a hospital shop - speaks to something of her character & charm & kindness. We are so lucky in our theatrical Dames.
Her husband in 'The Good Life', the Quaker Paul Eddington, once said:
"I think I would like my epitaph to be, 'He did very little harm.' And that's not easy. Most people seem to me to do a great deal of harm. If I could be remembered as having done very little, that would suit."
She did very little harm, too; indeed, like Paul Eddington, she brought much joy.
"Our revels now are ended. These our actors,
As I foretold you, were all spirits and
Are melted into air, into thin air:
And, like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on, and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep."
(Shakespeare, The Tempest)
