I design things. Love Belfast city, work an hour away, on my home ground of the Ards Peninsula, the most easterly point of (Northern) Ireland. Passionate about heritage & vernacular - I'm occasionally on BBC TV and radio, and other platforms too.
Some pics of a project which went public in Dublin last week. “Before” on the left, “after” on the right. Now unmistakably legible and packed with the visual heritage of Ireland - as well as on-shelf strength and distinctiveness
Hard to believe this was launched 3 years ago – a packaging redesign for Neill's Flour. Previous looked almost like an "own label". New one much stronger & alive. Some of the pics here show a direct "before" and "after" as the new packs were being phased in. Compare for yourself.
