@thechelskikid Don’t you think it’s telling you had to ask ai rather than formulating an answer yourself?
The Oval has the first FA Cup final, first home test, first home international in rugby union & football. The oval birthed the ashes.
Lords calls itself the Home of Cricket.
…
The lords glazing is genuinely farcical. It’s a fine cricket ground. England has many fine cricket grounds.
The Oval has more history, Edgbaston a better atmosphere, Headingley a better wicket.
"This ground has got SO MUCH going for it... but the bit in the middle is the most important, and it's not good enough." 😬

Cameron Green is in contention to become Travis Head’s opening partner this summer, as Australia’s selectors ponder how to keep both Green and Beau Webster in the Test team https://t.co/yXcsYNsBDc
Ben Stokes set to move down to No7 and Jamie Smith up to No6 in England's batting order. Brendon McCullum says no final decision taken but England "leaning towards" the switch, with the skipper slipping down the order after a difficult period with the bat

@miikey11_@Hammerhexy This has not been properly articulated in the cricket media but - if you clap when he runs down the wicket and hits it for 6, you have no possible right to boo when it doesn’t come off. Consistency would be sitting on your hands when Brook hits one into local rivers
Interesting that not a single outlet mentions the absence of Ollie Pope. Played most of the Ashes, very well respected as a total team man (look how he backed Bethel when he took his place, offering him throw downs etc) and recent VC. The guys is at least worth a mention!!
