If you are in the #T1Diabetes community in the UK?
This is worrying news from Scotland as mentioned by @iPAG_Scot
Care should be same across 4 nations- hopefully better sense will prevail and those with #T1Diabetes will not miss out on their relevant technology- which shows positive impact on outcomes.
For the record- thanks to @DHSCgovuk it is ring-fenced till 2029 @zubirahmed@wesstreeting - as part of finishing the 5 year implementation plan of @NICEComms TA 943
To continue with the improvement of #T1D outcomes
Let's lend our voice of support

41000 signatures so far! Amazing and thank you all. BUT, time is running out. We’ve only got until 20th December to get to 100000 to get this systemic issue debated in parliament. Please everyone. Type 1 diabetes is a serious condition, if not detected at a GP appointment, kills. It is not type 2 diabetes it is an autoimmune condition! It is rising, it does not care who you are, it does not care if it’s hereditary or not, it does not care if you’re healthy or unhealthy, it does not care about your ethnicity and it does not care about your age. I beg everyone on Facebook with uk citizenship, sign this petition. It is for testing where symptoms warrant it. Do it for you, do it for your mate, do it for your kids, do it for your grandkids, but most of all, do it for our beautiful little girl and everyone that has been badly treated around diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes x #LylasLaw 💛💝🌻

Join us next week for our Peer Support session for adults living with #Type1Diabetes, hosted by Dr. Kieran Walshe!
This group aims to create an informative and safe space to meet and learn more about type 1 diabetes, and give the opportunity for peer support and shared learning.
A most fabulous day at #TAD2025
Seeds planted in 2016 by @parthaskar, this event has blossomed into a beautiful tree that keeps giving.
It’s been an incredible honour and joy to bring this back to @LivEveryPlay, on a street named Hope, in a city that sings #YNWA#TAD2025
#TAD2025 are hoping to gather £2,500 for Life For A Child...
It's nearly there.
A way for any of us to #PayItForward ourselves & show thanks to the TAD guys efforts helping us here in the UK which helps them reach some further away to us that don't have access to the basics.
Looking forward to the fun day #TAD2025 the sun is shining and the chat is great. Met so many real people that I've only known on twitter for so many years
For those attending #TAD2025, please could you consider making a donation to @lifeforachild in place of any ticket cost for the event.
Any amount will truly help 💙
