4/ We may finally see HCU recoveries - they say that this update will "better capture improvements that sites have made." And they updated their (limited) guidance on what to do if you get hit by and update.

There is some very promising language in the text of the update for small publishers. Here are my takeaways from what was said:
3/ Google is again emphasizing that it wants sites to create content for humans, not to just do well on search. If you are doing "scaled content" this might not be a good update for you.
1/ It sounds very much like we will see more weight given to small publishers on the SERPs. Google said: "we aim to connect people with a range of high quality sites, including small or independent sites that are creating useful, original content"
