@StoneLarry I first enjoyed reading Blaine’s columns while a student at the University of Oregon in the late 1970s. I’m glad I was able to enjoy his writing when he moved to the Seattle Times. Looks like we moved to Puget sound region the same year.
@BeschlossDC I was in third grade. All teachers were summoned to the office. My teacher came back in tears, telling us the President had been shot. It seemed unreal and confusing. School was canceled. The rest of the week we watched TV. So many scenes remain seared in my memory to this day.
@GOP@TheDemocrats If you don’t support controls on assault weapons you are in favor of killing children. To say you can do nothing is cowardice. Your thoughts and prayers are meaningless without action.
