Israeli forces continue to impose a siege on Masafer Yatta, preventing Palestinian vehicles and agricultural tractors from reaching their communities.

[Mark Zivin @MarkZivin]

The right time to deal with this was 2018 when there were IAEA inspectors, dramatically fewer centrifuges, less enriched uranium & at least a possibility of more diplomacy-instead of tearing up an international agreement.

[Joel Pollak @joelpollak]

Yes. Not trying to be cute, but Churchill won WWII and was promptly voted out of office. The wrong time to deal with Iran is when it’s already North Korea.

[Mark Zivin @MarkZivin]

@ADLMidwest I'm shocked, dismayed, outraged, but mostly sad at how far ADL has fallen. An organization that used to root out real antisemitism now conflates legitimate criticism of Israel with antisemitism.

[Mark Zivin @MarkZivin]

@JeremyBenAmi The comments to this post only prove JBA's points. That is, comments show equal opportunity hatred from both extremes. It is time to support policies that aim for LT solutions to support the vast majority of the 14 mil (7 mil Jews/7 mil Palestinians) who are tired of endless war.

[Basel Adra @basel_adra]

URGENT: Masafer Yatta is facing a humanitarian emergency. Urgent international intervention is needed.
Thousands of Palestinians and their livestock are left without food water, animal feed or access to medical care.

[The Nexus Project @NexusProjectUS]

This is wrong. Period. Daniel Biss is the grandchild of Holocaust survivors, his mother is Israeli, and he has spoken out loudly and clearly against antisemitism. His colleagues will look to him for leadership on Jewish issues and for help building alliances to combat anti-Jewish hatred. This apparent strategy of creating adversarial relationships with progressive members, often by distorting reality and politicians' records, is self-defeating and damaging.

I think that Robert Reich gets it right:
Stop the killing.
[To be clear, however - that goes for both sides]

What’s really motivating the protests?, by @RBReich https://t.co/0HRcfpYRHs

[Robert Reich @RBReich]

Tomorrow, Trump's lawyers will argue before the Supreme Court that he is above the law.

It's a BS claim and he knows it, but until SCOTUS rules, the federal criminal cases against him are on hold.

He's trying to run out the clock so he can't be convicted before the election.

[Amy Spitalnick @amyspitalnick]

I’m really sick of media & viral social media posts painting the Jewish community in a false binary: pro-Israel or pro-Palestinian.

The vast majority of American Jews support Israel (but not necessarily its government) AND believe in Palestinian humanity & self-determination.

Rafah invasion imminent. 200 days into nightmare, w/half Gaza’s pop crammed into city. Terrified.
Find myself angry at everyone. Not just for Oct 7th, last 200 days & at obvious culprits. But for the years of int diplo neglect & bankrupt conflict management that preceded all this

@abazoo_ @afalkhatib Please note that this website is almost certainly NOT an official website of Hamas. https://t.co/fxqFqMOe4h
That said, of course, many of the video clips are likely real - as many were widely available on MSM

[Mark Zivin @MarkZivin]

Yes. It's unclear why when the Republicans all of sudden get "so upset" abt the deficit (OMG!) - the Dems don't say: "It's easy. We'll just reverse the Trump tax cuts you were so much in favor of..."

[Bharat Ramamurti @BharatRamamurti]

Since the media seems more focused on other topics, I'm launching a new recurring feature: Biden v. Trump on the actual issues -- what they did as president and what they would try to do in a second term.

First up: taxes. 1/

@DanielPipes @InbarProf Perhaps #Israel should try something new:
1.Develop a strategy for living w/Palestinians which provides for human rights for all
2.Invest a portion of its defense budget to achieve that strategy-eg,funding organizations that promote Arab-Jewish relations (instead of suppressing)
