@SkipsLegDays@AIPAC@nytimes Jews are an integral &loyal part of the West. Jews have enriched America since its founding &continue to do so —even in the face of rising fringe anti-Jewish hatred. Compared to all the West,America has the best chance to reverse this hatred trend.ThenAmerica will cont to prosper
@AKlibertyman@DavidM_Friedman 20% of Israel’s population isn’t just “a small minority”—&they’re not “allowed to live in Israel”. They are Israelis! Also, there is no ethnic cleansing of non-Jews in Israel. Premise: Israel has a right to Jewish self-determination& sovereignty in the Jewish ancestral homeland.
@kalster13 @HenMazzig You speak as a heartless fool. His adopted country was Israel and he was kidnapped violently by Gazan terrorists—then executed by those Gazan terrorists. He was a pure soul, a seeker of peace and reconciliation. May his memory be a revolution. May he bring healing to his family.
Former hostage Or Levy tattooed on his arm what Hersh Goldberg-Polin, z”l, told him in captivity: “He who has a why can bear with any how.”
Or writes: "This sentence has been with me ever since and until today, and maybe thanks to it I managed to survive this terrible phenomenon. My "why" is Almog and for it I knew that I would survive anything, no matter how hard it is.
When I went back and told the story to Rachel and John, Hersh's amazing parents, I discovered that this is actually a Nietzsche sentence quoted in Victor Frankl's book "The Man Seeks Meaning.” Frankel uses the phrase to describe the mental strength required of him to survive the Holocaust.
“Since the beginning of fighting, I can't help but remember that period of captivity - the fears, the mental and physical abuse, the constant danger of life that hovers over us and still hovers over the heads of 59 of our brothers and sisters.
“You can't describe how hard this "how" is, how much they suffer there, how much their families are suffering. There is no more important purpose than saving the lives of the kidnapped and kidnapped who are there. I appeal to all of you - please help us put an end to this horrible suffering."

@7yc00nW474n1@YosephHaddad Blame the victim? Sick to blame Eitan &the 10M Israelis for existing in their ancestral homeland. Arab&Jewish Israelis have a right to exist. Telling a Jew to go to the Jewish graveyard of Europe is sick. FYI, u don’t even know from where his family emigrated. No rights4Jews?
Above all, an end to the war in Gaza requires the release of the hostages, whose suffering has been forgotten by an international community that reserves its outrage only for Israel.
The war in Gaza must end.
An end to the war requires a ceasefire, which Hamas has rejected. Or it requires surrender, which Hamas has refused. Or it requires regime change, which Hamas has resisted.
Hamas rejects, refuses, and resists peace because war on Israel is the reason it exists. Antisemitism is the noxious air it breathes.
