The polls, while obviously early, are still close, and most voters seem unaware of Democratic legislation which accomplishes your checklist.
HERE'S WHY: The GOP is much better at messaging: the Democrats prattle on in long flowery poetry...the GOP has perfected the art of smash-mouth politics with short, memorable epithets. Examples: Nixon's "Law and order".....Gerald Ford's "Whip Inflation Now" (WIN)... Reagan's "Morning In America".
Now it's Trump's MAGA ... Defund the Police...CRT...PC...Woke, etc. All of it's empty word salad bulls**t. But these puerile, short zingers connect with the voters and is why Republicans run circles around Democrats when it comes to messaging.

A 16 year old was shot for ringing the wrong doorbell.

A 20 year old was shot and killed for driving down the wrong driveway.

An 18 year old is in critical condition for trying to get into the wrong car.

And a 6 year old and her dad were shot because her basketball rolled onto the wrong lawn.

In a nation armed to the teeth & perpetually primed for war, these tragedies are only going to happen more often, not less.
