@BobbyTopcat@_WokeNonsenseFC They could have essentially swapped the kickoff times and it would have been fine for local times and much better for supporters who are watching from the home countries. No one is suggesting a 2 am local kickoff.
@its_me_on_x_@DKThomp Your criticism sounds a lot like when DOGE was claiming to save taxpayers eleventy billion dollars “to make a point and then acted like it’s not about the validity of the numbers when people criticized them”
@SheaSerrano I just paid $80 to read this weeks good movie, because $80 to read about hell or high water is a good deal honestly. And now i get 51 more good movies free? Amazing, i should have done this sooner.
@haltrain@dpshow They are not the same type of player, but looking at the adv stats for draymond’s best 3 yrs and chuck’s last 4 yrs (similar # of games), there are some ways that draymond looks better, and others that chuck looks better. But this is 24-26yo draymond against 33-36yo chuck!
@maries7912@NBAPR@mcuban I watched a lot more NBA this year and it was mostly because the games were on streaming platforms i already have, and didnt require cable, which i do not have. (It didnt hurt that my Pistons had a nice season too)
@KCMartinK@PabloTorre I think the answers to your questions are yes, yes, and yes. I’m also not sure he even knows what introspection means, since he’s so hung up on looking backwards, when introspection has plenty of relevance to your current and future self.
@Mr_HappyfaceEsq@Olfool2@NickKristof Ah yes, I’m sure the blind senior citizen with a curtain rod he was using as a walking stick had those cops in a real pickle. This ain’t the Book of Eli buddy.
@CDLambchops@bigjohngasusvi@BarstoolNate@SamQuinnCBS No, but they have to abide by financial fair play rules, which essentially just means they can’t run constant deficits to buy all the best players. But big clubs that make the most money have a massive advantage and have more revenue to play with.
@Jomboy_ can you do a breakdown of when brad ausmus and james mccann got tossed for arguing quinn wolcott’s calls and then buck farmer hit wolcott with a pitch (on purpose, who’s to say? MLB said it was unintentional)? (9/13/17)
@DamenClegg And if you take away the draft, the Browns will still have adequate resources to compete for players with the Eagles. Burnley is not even trying for players on Man City’s wishlist. Plus there are only so many starting QB spots, or targets for a WR1, or shots for an NBA all star
@DamenClegg Are you worried about a superteam? If anything, the revenue sharing will provide a floor for “poor” teams to have somewhat comparable resources to “rich” teams. Soccer is fine in that no one is clamoring for a draft to fix it.
@Awmyrealnameis1@bethbourdon@Sassafrass_84 And then what sound would they play? Bc i have never been in a sports bar w/sound from multiple games. There can be a million games on different TVs and sound for only one. So what’s the point of watching but not listening to one of the halftime shows?
@Grookey4Smash@NickRTFM Plus 150-300 people (players, staff, etc) affiliated with the winning team get a super bowl ring every year. So 600+ rings handed out for every 50 gold medals given out in a world cup final.
@campoasts Getting outclassed but winning the semifinal and then going on to win the final to make it 5 consecutive gold medals isn’t evidence of USA not dominating the sport. You’re talking weather when we’re talking climate.
