This is painful to watch.

A grown man is on his knees on a busy Chinese street at night, bowing his head almost to the ground while people and buses move around him.

He’s calling her his wife, repeating “I was wrong” over and over, promising to buy her a bag right now, saying his face is already gone and he doesn’t even want his life if she leaves.

At some point another guy is standing nearby while he keeps doing this.

Men shouldn’t do this.

The second you drop to your knees and start begging like that in public, you’ve already lost.

You’re showing her, and everyone watching, that you have no backbone and no self-respect left.

No woman who still respects you is going to stay because of a public performance like this.

All it does is confirm that she has complete control and that you’re willing to humiliate yourself to keep her.

This is exactly the kind of behavior that irritates women and makes them see a man as weak.

Most women are not attracted to desperation.

When a man starts kneeling, pleading, and offering anything just to stop her from leaving, she stops seeing him as someone she can respect.

Instead of feeling sorry for him, she often feels embarrassed by him, then irritated, then repulsed.

The more he begs, the more she loses respect.

Attraction doesn’t survive that kind of public submission.

Begging doesn’t change her mind.

It just makes her certain she made the right decision.

Once it reaches the point where you have to destroy your dignity in front of strangers to keep her, it’s already over.

A man who still has self-respect walks away.

This only proves she already won.
