Social media has created an industry based on making humans addicted to the social approval feedback loop. Virtual reality will soon be the next big step in social media advancement. Imagine a place where you can imagine whatever you'd like and share it with friends.

@parthp913 I think that phones made of some smart glass seems a little overwhelming. Although it is very cool, the fact that we're getting closer to installing complex processors and better graphics in glass devices makes me question the control technology has on our wallets and attention.
@ashley__burg I believe virtual reality will more so have an immediate effect on social media on other visual based mediums such as movies and television. I believe that this advancement will move humans closer to connecting with people without having to really be present.
@lizcerreto I like this prediction. Just the other day, I found a service that will read things to me instead of me trying to read the text to myself. I find that it will help me actually complete assigned readings professors give me.
I am an active prosumer because I am a freelance photographer who posts photos on Instagram to further my personal brand.

@danadwyerRU I find this point interesting. Usually people want to get their content in front of a larger audience, so they would actually do the opposite. I never thought of it that way, where the hashtag would help actually narrow and lower the amount of results.
@AgrimaAgnihotri I agree! I believe that some of the things I have seen on the hashtags have been somewhat relatable. Everyone seems to be super busy and committed to interested careers according to the last TXC18 assignment.
My key takeaway for this the cross-conversation activities was the importance of collaboration on social media platforms. However, it overall just emphasized current skills most millennials already have.

To communicate effectively on Twitter, I would suggest using buzz words and catchy, current language that allows people to relate to your tweets quicker. Also, the use of visual aids like GIFS or photos help immensely considering we see thousands of photos daily. #DCIM353b#txc18
