If I remember well, at the turn of the century we were 'Brainstorming' lots about notions and different definitions of 'consciousness'... Other words come to 'mind': revamping, remediation (Bolter-Grusin), recursivity... and more?

In the latest @lexfridman podcast, @sama passed along an interesting suggestion for a consciousness test:

Train a LLM but make sure there is NO information about consciousness in the training set. Not a word

Then ask the LLM about its feelings and see if describes consciousness
