Sheikh Muhammad ibn Saalīh al-Uthaymeen Rahimahullah;
"Whatever kind of good deeds you do, do not become amazed with your own actions,
for your deeds are quite small in comparison to Allah's right over you".

You Only Deprive Yourself
Allāh, The Most High says:
وَمَن يَبْخَلْ فَإِنَّمَا يَبْخَلُ عَن نَّفْسِهِ
"And whoever is miserly is only miserly towards himself."
[Qur'ān: Sūrah Muhammad, verse no.38]
The night prayer is an act of the pious.
Al-Ḥasan was a person who was regular in his night prayers. He used to say: ‘I do not know of an act of worship more difficult to perform than the prayer at the wee hours of the night. Verily it is an act of the pious (muttaqīn).’

Why Does Allah Sometimes Make Sin Easily Accessible to You?
Shaykh Muḥammad ibn Ṣāliḥ al ʿUthaymīn raḥimahullāh, said:
“Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, in His wisdom, may make the means to committing a sin readily available, in order to test a person: will he refrain from the sin out of fear of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, or merely because he is unable to commit it?
Have you not considered the statement of Allah, the Most High:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَيَبْلُوَنَّكُمُ اللَّهُ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الصَّيْدِ تَنَالُهُ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَرِمَاحُكُمْ لِيَعْلَمَ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَخَافُهُ بِالْغَيْبِ
“O you who believe! Allah will certainly make a trial for you with something in the matter of the game that is well within reach of your hands and your lances, that Allah may test who fears Him in the unseen.”
Sūrat al Māʾidah, 5:94
Allah tested the Companions whilst they were in a state of iḥrām, with game that they could reach with their hands. Yet they did not pursue it, nor did they take any of it with their spears. They left that game out of fear of Allah.”
Muḥammad ibn Ṣāliḥ al ʿUthaymīn, Tafsīr Sūrat Yā Sīn, p. 29
Surround yourself with people that make you desire the hereafter more than the dunyā.
May Allāh give life to our hearts and aid us in taking ourselves to account.
Stop exposing yourself to things that harden your heart.
May Allāh forgive us for intentionally & persistently exposing ourselves to things that make our hearts heedless.
May Allāh grant us true insight.
May Allāh forgive me my shortcomings, rectify my affairs, grant me sincerity and aid me in being conscious of Him.
May what matters the most to me be Allāh & all He’s pleased with.
The da’wah of salafiyyah is mercy, but some of us taint it with our bad manners and make it seem otherwise to the layman.
May Allāh forgive us and make us better.
May Allāh make it easy for us to lower our gazes from every single act of disobedience to Allāh.
May الله forgive us and make us use His blessings for only things that are pleasing to Him.
The most important thing to look for in a spouse is their ʿaqīdah, adherence to the sunnah and righteousness.
If these are sound, every other thing will be sound bi idhnillāh.
May Allāh forgive us and correct our affairs.
May Allāh allow us to be steadfast throughout the hardships and difficulties we may encounter in life.
May Allāh forgive us our shortcomings and make us dwell in the abode of bliss.
