Missed the birth of my daughter in May of 2020 because I was deployed to Iraq. Height of COVID, powers at be couldn’t (wouldn’t) get me home to meet her until 4 months later in September.
I missed the birth of my son to be a scratch Dman on the road in buffalo Covid year. My wife was early and it was a precipitous labor-faster than 99% of births, so the deck was stacked. There was no hugging, no celebration. Just a quiet “well f**k. I missed it.” Met my son on FT
The investing industry sometimes uses terms interchangeably. Like “brokerage” in this instance.
It’s okay if you’re confused by it, and don’t know where to start.
Finding someone you can trust with advice for your family’s future is a tall task.
I don’t envy the maze investors have to run through to find good financial advice.
