@deviIette meanwhile the nypd literally brutalized us during a bombazo the night he rode that float and he hasn’t said a word abt what happened to boris in his own city + is keeping the same police commissioner who allowed it 😒
Gnome in a gaming chair. Wizard driving an 18 wheeler. Goblin giving someone a haircut. These are just a few of the many things my imagination is capable of
Imagine if Democrats ever took responsibility for PROMESA: a bill they passed & sent to Obama’s desk to be signed into law, which gave Puerto Rico its currently electricity crisis. All of it done without our consent. Instead they send more fed $ to a corrupt private ⚡️distributor
The liberal-left media in NYC (The Nation, The New Republic, New York Mag, etc) is pathetic on Puerto Rico. Almost zero coverage of big imperial news like this.
Puerto Rico is an occupied nation with imposed US citizenship. It’s crazy seeing people on this app hyperfixate on this story rather than discuss the US Govt ongoing occupation that perpetuates the colonial limbo that keeps us at the mercy of ignorant gringos.
The bigger problem isn’t that half of Americans don’t know Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens. It’s that *all* Americans know, deep down, we are a distinct nation and people—yet they remain supremely comfortable with their country’s ongoing colonial rule over our own.
I'm incredibly proud of how transparent our union is. In the @WGAWest's strike announcement, we included a list of our proposals, and the AMPTP's responses. Read it for yourself: it explains in black and white we're forced to go on strike.
