First camera started working on a Hardwaee 4 equipped Model 3 (2022). Yes, we did the retrofit!
It’s not as bad as it seemed, the computer replacement needed, some light ECU hacking. No need to replace camera cables as well, you can get away with adapters.
It’s driving, but still a bit of stuff left to get all the features 😁
Honestly Tesla could have done it ages ago and offer a paid upgrade, if they end up doing it it doesn’t need so much new parts, but you need to replace all the cameras. It can be done on intel cars together with a Ryzen retrofit.

Georgia Governor, @GovKemp on the completion of construction on our high-volume manufacturing facility in Covington:
“When we announced Archer’s choice to build this new manufacturing facility in Newton County, we knew it was just the start of an incredible relationship. Today’s announcement marks the next step in that journey, reaffirming Georgia's commitment to working with innovative companies like Archer to create quality jobs and opportunities for years to come. Congratulations to Archer, the Covington community, and all the hardworking Georgians who will find meaningful employment at this campus.”
We’ve completed construction of our ~400k sq ft high-volume manufacturing facility, ARC, located in Covington, GA.
This facility will produce Midnight, our all-electric vertical take off and landing aircraft built for rapid, back-to-back flights across cities.
We received the certificate of occupancy earlier this week and have begun tooling load-in ahead of our planned start of production at this facility in early 2025. Our goal is to ramp production from there to a rate of two aircraft per month by the end of the year.
We’re proud to be a founding member of the New American Industrial Alliance @newindustrials, building and commercializing the future of aviation here in the United States.
