Of course there is no transgender genocide. Trans-identified people are murdered at a rate lower than the general population. "Transgender genocide" just means: 1.) you don't get to inflict the ultimate sexual violence on children, 2.) some of your imperious demands to be recognized as something you are not will be declined.

The Boston Globe has just published a shockingly sober article about the nonexistent genocide supposedly targeting the transgender community.

In it, they cite a report I coauthored showing that the murder rate is actually lower for trans-identifying people than the general population. Our report was responding to the HRC's annual reports pushing the narrative that there is an ongoing "Epidemic of Violence" against the transgender community.

The reporter says he "offered the Human Rights Campaign's key researcher, the transgender woman Charleigh Flohr, or anyone else with the organization an opportunity to rebut the Manhattan Institute finding, but they didn't reply to me."

That's unsurprising because the HRC is engaging in fundraising propaganda. They don't care about the truth, only promoting the narrative.

The real reason children no longer enjoy reading.” Mary Wakefield has a theory in the latest Spectator.  Instead of screen addiction, she blames school curricula which teach “to the test” rather than reading for enjoyment. Children are so busy analysing brief extracts, they can’t enjoy the book as a whole.
I read incessantly as a child, including illicitly when I was supposed to be sleeping. Not “great literature”, it was Dr Dolittle, Biggles, Bulldog Drummond, Just William, Arthur Ransome, Percy F Westerman. It would certainly have included Harry Potter if he’d been around then. I don’t believe I ever had my “comprehension” tested. I just loved reading.
