This is how biblical deception works.

A man stands in front of a cross, speaks gently, sounds informed, and tells you the Bible is silent on abortion and sexual order. That lie only works if you’ve never read Scripture and don’t know Jesus Christ personally.

First…abortion.

The Bible does not need the modern word abortion to condemn the act. Scripture establishes personhood in the womb repeatedly. Psalm 139 states God forms the child in the womb. Jeremiah 1:5 records God knowing a person before birth. Exodus 21 assigns legal punishment for harm done to an unborn child, proving the unborn have moral and legal value. The command “Thou shalt not murder” applies because the unborn are living image bearers of God.

Silence is not permission. Scripture speaks in principles, not slogans.

Second…marriage.

Marriage is defined in Genesis as male and female. Jesus Christ Himself reaffirms this in Matthew 19 by quoting Genesis and declaring that what God joins together must not be redefined by man. Romans 1, 1 Corinthians 6, and Leviticus 18 explicitly describe same-sex sexual behavior as sin. The Bible does not need the phrase “gay marriage” any more than it needs the phrase “cybercrime” to condemn theft.

Third…the manipulation.

This argument intentionally mixes true biblical commands like caring for the poor with false claims about sexual morality, hoping listeners assume that compassion cancels obedience. It does not. Jesus Christ never erased sin. He confronted it, called for repentance, and then offered grace.

Jesus Christ is not a political symbol. He is The Lord.
He affirmed Scripture.
He upheld moral law.
He did not bend truth to cultural pressure.

This message only works on people who do not read the Word and do not walk with Jesus Christ themselves. The moment Scripture is opened, the argument collapses.

Read your Bible.
Know Jesus Christ.
Do not outsource discernment.
