Congrats to ELM Action Fund endorsee Martha Bixby on being elected to Newton City Council Ward 6!
A strong advocate for banning fossil fuel hookups & expanding open space, she will be the right person to lead Newton on #ClimateAction.
As election season in #NewtonMA starts to unfold, I’m excited to throw my support behind Martha Bixby for City Councilor in Ward 6. Martha is a thoughtful, passionate and caring member of the community who always puts people (and especially kids!) first. https://t.co/WzPdgJfKZF
@theamwalsh@Amtrak I’ve found Amtrak to be very helpful when calling. They might have a way to do a multi stop ticket. Also consider a National association of railroad passengers membership, gets you a discount. (apologies if any of this info is out of date)
@jersiegel Looks delicious. If you are ever looking for a pre-made gluten free pot pie, Inna’s Kitchen on comm Ave has an amazing lentil and chickpea pot pie. So good!
Great things happen when government and community come together! Thank you .@SenMarkey and all our neighbors for showing up at the doors today and inspiring our movement. One month left let’s do this! #teamworrell
@skoczela One or both kids have been home from school/preschool 12 out of 24 potential days. Exposure, cold, snow days, and the school flooding have made for an interesting start to the new year.
Lost in all the snow talk is the fact that a lot of Boston-area restaurants are going to lose an entire weekend in an already-slow month. Support them by grabbing a Friday meal if you can, even if it’s just takeout.
Ran into Councilor @aliciafornewton and Martha B. at the Newton polls today. Awesome to catch up with these two strong transportation advocates + leaders. #mapoli#bikethevote
@aliciafornewton You know a 6 year old who will be your biggest spokesperson for this effort! 🚲 although we saw someone run our new stop sign this morning... 😡
