@sphericalsquare Supposedly the congestion is due to the Central Motorway being closed (northbound from the Tyne Bridge) because of an unsafe building. It should be open again on Monday.

@virginmedia email seems to be working a bit better now but the older emails in my inbox have dissapeared, will they be restored ?
