But the Kachalla Muhammadu called it a big fat lie, that the reason he allowed the General to kpai after the snake bite without doing anything to save him was because the Katsina state government was playing games, and wasn't sincere to meet up his demands. He went further to threaten that he gave the Katsina state government from now until June 29th and an extra week to release two of his boys in detention and his cows, or he will attack again and unalive at least 200 people in the state. That he will not stop attacking and unaliving until the government stop sending the military to unalive him. He alleged that the same military the government is sending to unalive him, are the ones calling to inform him firsthand. That they always give him information to change his location and run. That whenever they are sent to come and unalive him, some of them will call to inform him. They will be guiding him with information of their real-time locations as they are coming for him, so he can change his position and escape. That no matter what the government does, they will never get him, or kpai him. He made a promise that if the Katsina state government meets up with his demands, he will stop attacking in the state. That his target is to go to Kano state, his home state to start attacking villages over there. He gave June 29th, and one extra week for all hell to be let loose.

Have you seen why Nigeria shouldn't be pardoning terro▪︎▪︎rists and ban▪︎▪︎dits. Most especially recruiting them into the military. A terro▪︎▪︎rist is always a terro▪︎▪︎rist. Even in military uniform, they will never mean well.

Nigeria can now only participate as an observer nation, while other countries can participate fully.

My brother returned to Nigeria after spending 3 years abroad.

During his first and second Sundays back home, he didn’t go to church. He also never joined us for our daily morning devotion.

My dad eventually had to ask him,
“Are you no longer a Christian? Since you came back, I’ve not heard you pray or seen you go to church. What’s going on?”

My brother calmly replied that he hadn’t stepped into a church for the past three years, yet his life had been going smoothly.

He said where he lived, about 98% of the things Nigerians turn into prayer points had already been solved by the system.

He added, “In Nigeria, even travelling abroad is a prayer point.”

We know the reality. We know Nigeria has oil. We know Ghana has gold. We know Kenya has tech. We know Botswana has diamonds. We know Zambia has copper. We know Zimbabwe has platinum and lithium. We know the DRC sits on $24 trillion in minerals. We know Africa is rich.

But here is what you do not understand, wealth beneath the ground does not translate to prosperity above it. You can have all the minerals in the world but if your leaders steal, your constitutions hostile towards humans rights, if your institutions are corrupt, if your people are divided by tribe, if your healthcare collapses, if your schools crumble, if your youth flee then you are poor. Not in resources. In governance. In accountability. In dignity.

We do not look down on Africa. We look at the mirror Africa refuses to face. We see our own flaws corruption, unemployment, crime and we fight them. We protest. We vote. We demand better. That is what makes us different. We do not run. We stay. We build. We hold our leaders accountable, even when it hurts.

You say we lack exposure. But we see you. We see your leaders flying overseas to get treated, some in our country to get medical treatment, while your children starve. We see your ports exporting raw minerals while your people have no jobs. We are not blind. We are not ignorant. We are honest.

The difference between South Africa and many other African countries is not wealth. It is the willingness to confront failure. We own ours. You run from yours. That is not a lack of exposure. That is a lack of accountability. And until you fix that, no mineral, no resource, no tweet will save you. Go home. Fix your house. Then talk to us about exposure.
