@AfricanHub_ So are we saying that there are no points of possible improvement? Any areas that are less than ideal? Any factors that have not gone so well?
@marcodelic256@OpenAI For images that involve text. These tools struggled to deal with text within images in a meaningful way. Change xx to to yy within an image would yield gibberish most times. So hopefully this resolves that.
@ProfJNMoyo Currency benefits in Zimbabwe's case from backing. The involved institutions also need integrity otherwise the market might not trust that the gold is present, causing an erosion of value. Independent institutions, free from political meddling are key.
@CEDA_BW @OfficialMasisi Phenomenal for a 2020/2021 project! The local employment prospects are exciting! This could catalyse interest in Agribusiness there & perhaps the development of an ecosystem spanning a wider range of similar projects from other the parts of the Agricultural disciplines.
@ShxcksBW Don't legislate protectionism. Producers must compete with international players, making better products. Quality, cost & consistency are usual suspects holding locals back & these remain the Holy Grail to success.
@elonmusk You're going to be cancelled by the left for saying that word, "Eskimos". :-)) Amazing photo, is the front door open or do they close that in some way, otherwise I can't imagine how energy escape would sustain that glow? So much that humanity still meets to learn from each other.
@BWGovernment Since the .co.bw namespace is controlled by the state surely @BOCRAbw can just shut it down and the perpetrators can easily be found via the payment method used to pay for this domain at the ISP.
@gunsnrosesgirl3 1924 - Europe sewing for women DIY carpentry for men. Africa and Asia, growing one's own food crops and hunting in certain parts of the world.
@TheEconomist@NAChristakis This is a huge generalisation. Many of us will cope just fine. Many humans today are intellectually lazy compared to the available technology but humanity tends to defy the odds and get along fine with our inventions.
@abhiyogi@VivekGRamaswamy A president is the actual CEO of his government. Otherwise a president could not be responsible for the outcomes of his government.
@pmddomingos It would be interesting if you could tell us in a tweet about what you were thinking 25 years ago versus what you are thinking today around the subject of AI?
@ZlecafNews@AfCFTA Lets speak about accountability for the implementation of #AfCFTA at #AfCFTABF2023. Our technocrats @_AfricanUnion and @AfCFTA are brilliant but the elephant in the room is that our politicians are lagging behind in willpower to deliver the accelerated future we want.
@GaryMarcus @FLIxrisk Increase the pace of AI development in orders of magnitude. AGI in our lifetime! Let competent petitioners invent a regulatory framework & convince us to implement as we run rather than calling for unenforceable moratoria. Genuine concerns but nobody is pausing this adventure.
@OfficialMasisi Another historic step for the country & members @_AfricanUnion. A huge market exists @AfCFTA with endless opportunities and #Botswana can teach teach a thing or two to #Africa about its project with a peaceful rule-based economy entrenched in a stable governance structure.
Today I deposited the instruments for ratification of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, His Excellency Moussa Faki Mahamat.
