For me I took a moment to look at the Pop art movement and some others around the time that pushed the envelope around what art is, and asked what does something need to be in order to be considered art? Then I circled back to this short.
At its core is a story someone told. That they stitched together prerendered images/sequences is secondary in my mind.
Is the how of art really as important as the what or the why?
It always was more AI than human, and there's actually a great boon because of that. The AI spam has helped keep the trend in people's minds and in front of our eyes long enough for actual artists to have enough time to create our works.
I think Malfoid is showing a strange symbiosis between the two. AI is holding the tick tockers attention long enough for us to knock em out with art.
@kreitzen_2 "Imposing your unwelcome ideas on a fun trend". That's you and yours refusing to stop gooning for 3 seconds. The key thing that is unwelcome in the trend is the goonslop. Take your dick elsewhere, nobody wants your porn addiction here. This is about romance not raunch.
@Reina_VT Here's what I do! Full renders typically run $120-175 USD per piece depending on complexity (Backgrounds, etc). Thank you for the opportunity!
