Not everyone is patients, but we are all citizens.
@KarstenJuhl on communicating the uncertainty of the effects of healthcare interventions, both benefits and harms. Important for preventive interventions such as screening programmes, where participants are not patients.
@jd_wilko I have once used our institutions subscription to check a paper where some initial flags were raised, but only for text-comparisons. The subscription is quite costly I Imagine if it’s not currently available though. Optional check if infrastructure is in place perhaps?
Now hiring: a postdoc in metascience to work with me on testing interventions for improved reproducibility in the @iRISE_EU project at @karolinskainst. Please RT.
