Great to be in lovely Edinburgh for @PopMusicEd UK Symposium presenting some research I had undertaken at @KentState !

Second chapter of my thesis is out! 🌍🌊 It highlights the vital role of hydrology in driving DOC and DIC production/export to streams. Deeper respiration processes are increasingly important in a warmer, drier US mountain west. #CriticalZone #Carbon

Congrats to @DevonKerins for incredible defense today!

Such a privilege to see her grow into a creative, thoughtful scientist; more importantly, into an open-minded, inclusive, resilient human.

Thx to an amazing, all-woman committee: @PSUstormwater @WeiPeng_Pton @HydroBeth

Very happy to give a guest lecture today on songwriting to the students of the Masters in songwriting course at the @IWorldAcademy & also tell them about my current research at @KentStateMusic_

[Martin Ryan @martinryanmused]

Heartwarming story for your Monday morning, had a very generous person in the community donate this brand new Alvarez acoustic guitar to one of my guitar students 🤩

[Anna's Anchor @annas_anchor]

Here’s a video of us playing Freed from Desire in front of an awful lot of people in Limerick for the homecoming of the hurlers https://t.co/g8hn9TLPuz

@MccormackShow Ah no 😭

[Anna's Anchor @annas_anchor]

Here’s what it looks like to walk out on stage in front of 20,000 people! What an honour it was to play the homecoming of the triumphant Limerick hurlers! #LuimneachAbú #limerick @LimerickCLG

[Maria Flannery @mariaflan]

A serious buzz building in Limerick city ahead of the homecoming for the victorious 4-in-a-row hurlers.

I think maintaining a career in the music industry is an essential part of teaching popular music education. This Summer I’ve been on tour releasing a new album in my band @annas_anchor & today we had the honour of performing those songs in front of 20’000 people!

[University Of Limerick @UL]

As the crowd builds ahead of the homecoming celebrations, UL graduate Marty Ryan is on stage entertaining the crowd with his band, Limerick's own Anna's Anchor

A fantastic celebration of this city, it's people and its accomplishments

It was great to step outside of my comfort zone over the last 2 weeks & away from the popular music Ed. side of things and complete level 1 of Orff training at @KentStateMusic_ . A lot of valuable resources that I’m excited to take into my future teaching!

Had an amazing time attending / volunteering & presenting on artist -teachers in New Orleans at @PopMusicEd conference! Rather appropriately, now it’s time for me to get back to Ireland to release the new @annas_anchor record and head out on tour! 💚#findyourpeopleAPME
