Everything women demand from a man costs money.
-Provision costs money.
-Protection costs money.
-Leadership costs money.
-Performance costs money.
Everything men ask from a woman costs nothing.
-Respect.
-Peace.
-Loyalty.
-Softness.
And somehow, what costs nothing is still called "too much" BY MODERN FEMINISTS. 🥺
"There is a season when there is no one. No phone calls... No invitations to hang out... No one checking in on you... The few who do call probably are just for just... very little engagement... forgotten promises...
This is the time to find yourself and listen to your soul... find laughter... find joy... and find validation in Him who made you.
The noise vanishes so that you can see what's truly left.. What really matters!
What season are you in?
#RefindingYourself
Throughout the month of June, TotalEnergies Uganda joined the global conversation on Men’s Mental Health Month by encouraging openness, awareness, and support among our teams.
Our male staff took part by sharing important reminders on the value of speaking up, checking in on one another, and creating safe spaces where men can prioritise their mental wellbeing.
More voices from our female staff as we observe Men’s Mental Health Month.
By holding these messages, our female staff are helping to encourage openness, reduce stigma and remind men that seeking support is a sign of strength.
This Men’s Mental Health Month, our female staff lent their voices to an important cause: supporting men’s wellbeing through awareness, compassion, and understanding.
Their participation highlights the role we all play in challenging stigma and promoting a culture where mental health is treated with the same importance as physical health.
I see you!
You are not absent.
You are fighting.
Struggling so that your kids don’t have to.
You’re carrying people who don’t even know they are being carried.
May God grant you the breakthrough that will allow you to spend more time with your kids.
May their mother be your shelter, not another battle.
May your children, when they grow up and understand the price of things, look back and say —
Taata yatulwanirira.
Our father fought for us.
Happy Father’s Day my guy!
This man, has carried the Men’s agenda flag so high for the last 4 years. Started Muntu Wa Wansi educational & sensitization programs on social media, that have shaped men into real men. He has also empowered them about their rights & responsibilities. Does he even know the families he has protected & family feuds prevented as a result? He’s so humble & doesn’t even brag about it as long as he’s served above self. I hope this post will trigger a national award soon. I celebrate you @kyamageroandrew
@EKabanda@RelatableLuo@ManCaveUg That's true, and that's when your own built house stops being a safe place and feel like a prisoner in your own walls.
We need to intentionally build backup systems for our old age.
@RelatableLuo@ManCaveUg As a man , you should have a backup plan for the backup plan just in case children and their mother abandon you.
It's a frightening reality.
The most dangerous phrase in men's health isn't HIV.
It's:
"I think I'm fine."
Tomorrow, we're breaking down:
• How to know you're actually fine.
• Why assumptions are risky.
• What every man should be checking.
• How to protect yourself and those you love.
