"I am a college student studying in HMT, Srinagar. Every day I travel by Smart Bus from Chadoora to Jahangir Chowk, and I have to pay ₹25 for each trip. As a student, it is very difficult for me to afford this amount daily because my father is a labourer.
I swear upon Allah, the total travel cost from my home to my college is around ₹130 every day, which is impossible for me to manage. I am not asking for free travel for students, but I kindly request that the Smart Bus fare be reduced to at least half for students"

In its election manifesto , JKNC promised to waive off application fees, for applying to recruitment agencies like SSRB, JKPSC and other institutions in J and K.

I asked a question to find out whether the election promise has been fulfilled.

In reply, the Minister in- GAD, who happens to be MLA Ganderbal and CM sahib, has informed that Rs 31 crore fee has been collected from October last year, since this government came in power.

The minister has said that there is no proposal for abolishing application fees for recruitment agencies. And no such proposal is under consideration.

This 31 crore reflects one of the so many broken promises and the trail of lies and deceit.

Please for once can the say that they lied. And apologise.
