Money is a stand in for the resources that represent this wealth.

@WarrenGLewis1 @TedRall Well in order for restaurants to succeed people need more disposable income, which comes from wages. Wages, which capitalist try to suppress as much as possible, hurt the economy.

The contradiction is that this means there is less money for consumption.
