@KaylaAncrum There was some horror movie in the 90s that had a garbage disposal scene. I've never been able to put my hand down one since. Grown ass adult and I'm calling my dad to snag a bottle cap out of the garbage disposal. 🥲 My current house not having one was a big selling point.

@the_transit_guy I did a meal service for about a year. It got me back in the habit of regular cooking and I learned a bunch of new recipes. I eased back into regular meal planning and prep and I rarely have food waste now.

@emzanotti Costco for sheets. West Elm for duvet cover. Check the clearance if you aren’t locked in on a particular style. I got mine for 70% off. It’s like sleeping with a cloud!

@tig327 @emzanotti I would have agreed with this until about 6 months ago. The last two sets I bought were poorly constructed, wouldn’t stay on at the corners, and were scratchy even after multiple washes.

@chadwifeyeet After my mom died, my dad switched to envelopes of cash. The siblings get small gifts off a wish list for the nibblings. This year we went in together and got family zoo memberships at my SILs request. Easy, low stress. 10/10 would recommend.

@PappaSciarappa @johnamonaco Because despite saying they are faith centered, Catholic schools are high-end private schools where sports and academics/college admissions drive policy and practice. Faith and religious practice is far down the list.
