when i ask clients about their social life/health, i don’t just ask if they have friends. i ask “do you have friends that you feel heard by, that you can rely on and trust?” anyone can have friends. are the friends in your life fulfilling their role of real support is my concern.
People underestimate what happens when you don't do the inner work. The inner work you avoid in your 20s will follow you into your 30s. The inner work you avoid in your 30s follows you into your 40s—so forth & so on. This is why some people are 50+/60+ and still full of trauma.
Yes, healing is hard.
Becoming the best version of yourself isn’t meant to be easy.
Not healing is also hard. Re-living generational trauma cycles is hard. Being stuck is hard.

I highly respect people who are comfortable with giving reality checks, telling the truth, and holding others accountable. It’s important to keep each other as conscientious as possible, and that requires being an honest reflection of what someone needs to change within themself.
your soulmate is someone who’s committed to working things out with you & doesn’t see breaking up as an option. they’re willing to have difficult conversations & are always devoted to finding solutions that make the both of you feel secure, reassured, & happy in your relationship
Someone being careful and intentional with you. Someone who anticipates your needs. Someone who pays attention to your details so that they can add to your masterpiece. These are the kinds of love languages that create a safe space for you to be yourself.
Right now I can’t AFFORD anymore situations in my life that bring out the worst in me. It’s exhausting and requires too much for me to recover from. I need calmness and gentleness in my life. I need calmness so tired of chaos. Anything outside that I don’t have the capacity for.
Being in a healthy relationship has taught me that there’s no such thing as “this is who I am, take it or leave it”. When you genuinely love a person, you work on those toxic traits, you learn to communicate, you listen to each other’s feelings and encourage individuality
