A small clip from the first test of my AI glasses with a visually impaired person
I’m grateful to everyone who has supported me so far. But my dream and vision go far beyond this i want to use technology to make a real difference in people’s lives and help our society
I believe this project deserves to reach the world and connect with technology companies and organizations that can support us in taking it to full production
I created an AI Smart Glass to help blind people walk without a cane or a guide 👓
But this is not like the smart glasses people are used to seeing
Because this Glass combines AI, sensors, and GPS to help the user detect things in front of them, avoid obstacles, and know their location
But the most amazing thing is if the user gets lost, the GPS tracking system can help locate where they are from anywhere, and then send the location to the phone of the person taking care of them via WhatsApp or Email 📲
And now I am further developing it to a new level of AI + Voice, so it can speak with the user and also help them understand their surroundings
I have put the video showing how it works completely in the comment. 🎥

Let the world see what a young Nigerian can build
The rainy season has come. Toddlers that should be coddled in the warmth of their mother's arms are at the mercy of soulless savages. A nation that cannot protect its young is one that has failed. Day 89, nothing from the presidency, from the state government.
I learnt there's a free medical consultation and treatment for pilgrims. So I'd really love to win this for my mom.
She's been battling with a lot of sicknesses like diabetes, blood pressure, gout, ulcer and asthma.
She'll get a chance to perform Umrah and also get free medical check up.
I pray this comment makes it.
May Allah ease our affairs. Amin

2. time blindness — there's no "later." only now, or not yet
Here’s an observation I made as a parent, and this is a heartfelt message to other parents: please, limit your children’s screen time.
For the past two to three years, I struggled deeply with my son’s attention span. Every single teacher, both his Islamic teachers and his school teachers, said the same thing:
“Your son is incredibly smart. One of the smartest children in class. But he has serious attention issues.”
And they were right.
I tried everything. I even created a full homeschooling routine at some point. I bought educational materials, structured activities, learning aids, I genuinely went the extra mile because I knew my son was intelligent. But the mistake I kept making was that once we were done learning, he went straight back to screens.

When Khalifa Umar bin al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him) was stabbed, they brought him milk and he drank it, and the milk came out from his side... So the doctor said to him: "Make your will, O Commander of the Faithful, for you will not live."
He called his son Abdullah and said to him: "Bring me Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman..." And Hudhayfah came-he was the Companion to whom the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) had given the names of the hypocrites, known only to God, His Messenger, and Hudhayfah.

i've searched for a comment i saw on this post, but can't seem to find it. the questioner asked something like: when one repents constantly and still feels no ease or change and the heart grows weary due to this, what can one do?
apparently, shaykh, across his discussions on repentance and heart diseases in same book and madaarijus saalikeen, explains that delayed ease after tawbah does not negate its sincerity.
shaykh explains that repentance is not some sort of mechanical switch that guarantees immediate emotional relief. sometimes a servant repents sincerely, repeatedly, yet feels heaviness remain. this, he says, does not invalidate the tawbah. it often reveals something deeper about the heart’s state and Allah’s wisdom in tarbiyah.
and also, he mentions a few reasons for this persistence of weariness. among them are:
- one: the heart may have repented from the sin, yet remains attached to its traces. tawbah removes the jurm (guilt), yet the athar (the residue) may linger. just as a wound can close while soreness remains, the heart may need time, patience, and continued turning to Allah for full healing.
- two: Allah may delay felt ease to purify intention. if relief came instantly every time, repentance could become transactional. shaykh notes that Allah sometimes keeps the servant at the door longer so their turning becomes deeper, humbler, and less self-centered.
- three: the servant may be repenting, yet neglecting what revives the heart alongside tawbah—consistent dhikr, reading and pondering over the Qur'an, good deeds, and distancing from the causes of sin.
- four: weariness itself can be a test of truthfulness. shaykh emphasizes that the real sign of sincerity is persistence even when sweetness is absent. remaining at Allah’s door without comfort is itself an act of devotion. this is obviously also well-referenced by Allah in the second verse of suratul ankabut.
so, what can one do?
- persist without bargaining, increase remembrance, accompany repentance with hope, and refuse to interpret delayed ease as rejection. a servant’s duty is to return. relief arrives when Allah wills, in the form He chooses—sometimes as light, sometimes as restraint from falling back, sometimes as strength to endure.
in shaykh's framing, the worst response is to abandon repentance because it "doesn’t feel like it’s working." that, he warns, is the nafs seeking proof before obedience.
the heart may grow weary, truly. yet, the task remains to stay, to keep knocking, and that one understands that even the standing itself, by the door of Allah, is mercy in itself.
One of my greatest regrets in life was letting the teachers in my secondary school convince us that Art class was for dullards and science class for the smartest students. I was excellent at debates, loved words and really wanted to be lawyer but they wouldn’t let me.
They made that choice for me before I understood what it meant. I’m pretty sure this was a moment that altered the trajectory of the lives of so many Nigerian kids.
The time for tahajjud is from 1am-5am NGN time, but.. READ BELOW!
The idea for you is to stay awake until the time for Fajr. That's why the time 1hr or 40mins before fajr was chosen as the best time to pray tahajjud. Because it will be a shame for anyone to miss fajr because they prayed tahajjud. Which is very likely if someone decides to go back to sleep after praying tahajjud so early.
But the time for tahajjud starts from 1am-5am. That's the 3rd quarter of the night. If you can pray your tahajjud by 1am or 2am, then go back to sleep and still make it for fajr.. then that's perfect😅👍🏽
Just DON'T YOU EVER MISS FAJR FOR ANYTHING. it's that important.
And Allah knows best.
May Allah make it easy for everyone of us.
Repost and don't forget to follow me.
Jazakallah khairan as you do.😊❤️
