Trump dropped an absolute bombshell yesterday. The media focused on him saying "I love the inflation." But did you hear the Venezuela raid-sized news he announced AFTER THAT?

The U.S. military has been secretly taking millions of barrels of oil OUT of the Strait of Hormuz in a massive operation. Not even Iran knew this. Everyone thought the tankers were just sitting there. THEY WEREN'T. That's why oil prices didn't reach deadly levels. That's why gas prices are dropping.

This is one of the most impressive military operations I’ve ever heard about. So why announce it to the world now? Why not let it keep going in secret? Here's my guess: It was a massive poker move against Iran, showing them that they have NO LEVERAGE, it let China know that America still controls the seas, and it let the American people know that Trump has a plan and it's WORKING.

That sure sounds like America First to me.

DC before vs after Trump's restorations

After spending this week reviewing the Iranian war I am now convinced President Trump is on the edge of an historic victory. The real breakthrough for me came as I reviewed President Trump’s decisions and maneuvers not from the standpoint of American unilateralism but from the standpoint of the leader of a remarkable historic coalition, the largest coalition ever put together in the modern Middle East. Everyone understands that Israel is an important ally. What is little discussed is the depth of support from the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region. It has to be sobering for the Iranian dictatorship to realize that it does not have a single ally willing to challenge the American naval blockade. Slowly, gradually, timidly, our European allies are lining up to help with the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. A great deal of President Trump’s maneuvers against Iran make sense once he is seen as a coalition leader and not just as a unilateral American President. I spent a lot of the last couple weeks reviewing kinetic options including wining the battle of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz and if necessary using the shocking and shattering level of force President Nixon and Secretary Kissinger used against Hanoi and Haiphong in Christmas 1972 (which both leaders believed convinced the North Vietnamese to agree to a truce and the freeing of American POWs). If this were a unilateral American campaign I could enthusiastically support a more aggressive kinetic campaign. However it is also clear it would shatter the coalition because our Arab allies are convinced Iran could still do enormous damage to their oil fields and infrastructure. Coalitions are inherently slower than unilateral campaigns. However coalitions ultimately bring vastly more power to the fight. I am as frustrated as everyone else by the pace of talking with the dictatorship but having reviewed the correlation of forces and the options available to the coalition on one side and the Iranian religiously motivated dictatorship on the other I am prepared to assert that President Trump’s coalition leadership (something almost none of his critics want to acknowledge) is within reach of an enormous historic victory. And if the Iranian dictatorship ultimately proves it is hopelessly committed to a suicidal position there will be plenty of time for a kinetic campaign of enormous power and effectiveness. Either way we are on the edge of an astonishing victory for our values and for a safer Middle East.

America, we are running out of warnings. This is the fourth time we’ve seen people act on what they’ve been TAUGHT by the media and half of our leaders since 2024.

The White House Correspondents’ Dinner attacker wasn’t born this way. He was radicalized, step by step, post by post, protest after protest. He soaked in the constant insistence that everyone who disagrees with him is an evil, fascist, Nazi traitor, and an existential threat to his life. Over time, he began to believe that murder was moral.

His family saw it. They tried to stop it. How many other radicalized young men are out there right now?

Call this what it is: Domestic terrorism born of ideological hatred. The next time, we might not be so lucky and the price for the Republic – for each of our families – will be unbearable.

Time for the US Navy

As expected, these negotiations didn’t go anywhere as Iran’s new leadership is not ready to change its behavior of seeking a nuclear weapon, terrorizing its neighbors, or giving up the Straight of Hormuz. The VP got to see that first hand.

Iran never honored even its basic commitment to open up the Straight for two weeks and instead continues to lead with defiance of the most basic international laws of the sea.

The president cannot and will not let this stand. Now after the air force operated superbly it’s the turn of the Navy to enforce a blockade and shut down the Iranian toll booth and strangle its economy. They will be tested.

Remember the US is not dependent on the Straight and is a net exporter of oil and tankers are on the way to the US now as an alternative source. It is time for the Europeans to join this effort as once again the US is helping them while they appear to be willing to pay Iran rather than confront them.

There is no turning back now from the strategy of forcing Iran to give up its ambitions and Iran obviously does not want the US to resume its air campaign so we will wait to see how they react to the US clearly having a plan here in response to their intransigence. The US has been moving in the resources to take over the Straight and is going to flip the script on Iran and continue step by step to continue maximum pressure against it.

And the midterms are almost 7 months away so enough of the talk about this as though it is tomorrow. The President is undertaking a world-changing effort to end the global threat of nuclear terrorism and he is not turning back but continuing his policy of offering an olive branch in one hand while holding all the arrows in the other.
