Talking about double standards he said:

President Abelardo de la Espriella’s government formally severed relations, effective 19 September. Consular ties remain.

Reasons cited:

Die Situation der Frauen unter dem unterdrückerischen, fundamentalistischem iranischen Regime muss besondere Aufmerksamkeit erlangen.

Frauen im Iran geben sich der Unterdrückung nicht hin- sie leisten Widerstand. Dafür haben zehntausende Frauen im Iran bereits mit ihrem Leben bezahlt. Viele wurden während dem Massaker 1988 hingerichtet und die Familien wissen bis heute nichts über deren Verbleib.

🚨 At Least 25 Prisoners Executed Across Iran in Seven Days

Iranian authorities executed at least 25 prisoners on September 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 13 and 14, according to reports.

Eight were executed on September 2, across prisons in Mashhad, Shiraz, Babol, Gorgan and Rafsanjan.

Four were executed on September 6 in Vakilabad Prison, Mashhad, including 40-year-old Fatemeh Jahangard.

Another four were executed on September 9 in Isfahan and Yazd, while six were hanged on September 13 in Zabol, Zahedan, Iranshahr and Jiroft.

Three additional prisoners were executed separately on September 5, 8 and 14 in Semnan, Behshahr and Isfahan.

Reza Pahlavi has never distanced himself from the political repression under his father’s rule in Iran. In 2026, he even declared that he was “proud of his heritage.”
Yet this heritage also includes authoritarian rule, the suppression of political opponents, and the notorious SAVAK secret police.

Welcoming the referral to the UN Security Council of the nuclear dossier of the religious fascism ruling Iran: Placing this regime under Chapter VII of the UN Charter is a necessary step for international peace & security, but it’s not enough.

As long as this regime is in power, it won't stop seeking a nuclear bomb, inciting war, exporting terrorism, or executing and suppressing its people. The ultimate solution is the overthrow of this regime by the Iranian people and organized resistance.
