@suburbancontra1 I would try to avoid Asheville if you can. There’s no power or gas and flight cancellations are expected.

I’ve heard I26N or I40E are open if you have to do that but it changes a lot with the conditions so you could get stuck.

I just made it out of Asheville. There is no power, water, cell service, or sewage.

Most of downtown is in decent condition, but Biltmore Ave is underwater. River Arts, Carrier, and French Broad River Parks are essentially gone. Chimney Rock too. #asheville #ncwx

@elizabethbkelly I40 E, there was a mudslide near the Black Mountain at exit 64 and they allowed one lane of traffic through around 1 pm.

I’m not sure if it’s still open or not. That’s the only way out of Asheville that I’m aware of. #asheville #ncwx

@mattwilson84 @romeoNblkjeans @asheville I have not heard anything on Woodfin specifically, but I know it’s just bad all over Asheville and the surrounding area. No power, water, sewage, internet, or cell service.

Most likely out of all of those things until Tuesday or Wednesday
