Over the weekend in Nigeria 🇳🇬, one of the most prominent Muslim clerics gave a speech at a mass wedding attended by the governor of Kano State.

Sheikh Yahaya Jangir.

He said Muslims should show political “dominance” over Christians.

Called Christians “infidels.”

This is why Christians are so persecuted in northern Nigeria.

It isn’t just terrorists. It’s prominent religious and political leadership.

Sheikh Jangir is based in Jos, Plateau State.

Perhaps the epicenter of persecution of Christians in Nigeria.

His name is Sheikh Yahaya Jingir.

He said that “Nigeria is a Muslim country. And if you don’t want to accept the Muslim-Muslim ticket, then you should leave Nigeria, because the country belongs to the Muslims alone.”

He went further & said “If it were not for the Muslim-Muslim ticket, the Christians in Nigeria would think they outnumber the Muslims.”

Then he urged Muslims to ‘show Infidels their limit.’ Infidels here are Christians. He is invoking fatwa against Christians. Repeating the now infamous phrase, “all is fair in politics,” a war chant. Sheikh Yahaya Jingir is telling the over 140 million Christians in Nigeria that Bola Ahmed Tinubu doesn’t need their votes.

So “whether Christians like it or not, Nigeria belongs to Muslims.” He said the quiet part out loud. So I hope the attacks on the Cardinal & the Catholic Bishops is evidence enough?

This is a political Imam employed by Aso Rock to cause divisions ahead of 2027. Of course, the DSS will not have him picked up like it’s done in Tajikistan (a Muslim-majority country, with roughly 96% to 98% practicing Islam).

Tajikistan enforces a very strict & sweeping crackdown on independent, unregistered, & foreign-educated Muslim preachers, utilizing broad anti-extremism laws to maintain absolute state control over religious affairs.

Sheikh Yahaya Jingir is preaching the type of incendiary ideology that led Nigeria down a terrorism path. Seventeen years have passed, & Nigeria is yet to recover. These are bad eggs polluting the Muslim Ummah for selfish gains.

I hope the fire is stopped before it spreads!

Bola Ahmed Tinubu thrives on divisions. He has declared war on Christians. It’s obvious that fake bishops have expired, it is time for the hydra called the Muslim-Muslim ticket to rise.

This is proof that Christians are persecuted in Nigeria. So I’m glad the incendiary ideology is no longer in the shadows. Now we know what we’re up against! Now we can take it head-on!

It was a moment of joy today as the Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Engr. Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev, joined me to inspect the site for the construction of a new dam, recently approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the people of my ancestral home, Kanke Local Government Area of Plateau State, and its environs. Just a few weeks ago, we were here to flag off the construction of the Babban Lamba–Sharam Phase II Road. Today, we are back to take another important step towards delivering this transformative water infrastructure.

The dam will provide irrigation water to farmers in Kanke and surrounding Local Government Areas, boosting agricultural production, improving livelihoods and strengthening food security. As the Minister rightly noted, water is life, and access to water for irrigation is critical to unlocking the agricultural potential of our communities. The Federal Government is determined to ensure that this project is delivered within the shortest possible time for the benefit of our people.

This is a new chapter of Federal Government presence in our communities. With about 500 kilometres of Federal Government roads currently being constructed in Plateau to connect the surrounding states, alongside projects in water, agriculture and other sectors, the Renewed Hope agenda is increasingly visible on the ground. We will continue to push for more projects and work to close the infrastructure gaps in our communities.

We are deeply grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving this landmark project for Kanke. I also appreciate the Minister and his team for their commitment to bringing the project to fruition. The warm cultural recognition accorded the Minister by the Ngas people was a beautiful demonstration of our people's appreciation and hospitality. We will keep pushing for development, we will keep delivering, and we will keep supporting the Renewed Hope agenda.

Plateau people, we are really sleeping on the matter of insecurity in the state, thinking everything will somehow get better. But I seriously doubt it. I believe we haven’t even seen the worst yet, because a lot of things are clearly off.

For instance, a Keke driver operating from Federal Low Cost didn’t even know where State Low Cost is. He had to ask his passenger whether he would go through Dong or Tudun Wada?
Just yesterday evening, someone complained a woman flagged down the Keke she was in at the State Low Cost junction. She wanted to go to Rantya, but the driver looked confused and said he was heading to Du (Dong?).

It seems there are far too many of these people on the roads now. These small signs show how much we’re being infiltrated and we’re still pretending things are normal.

The crazy part about this Bokkos attack is that they didn’t stop at attacking Kawei village in Bokkos, according to reports, they also stormed a hospital.

How messed up is that? It’s infuriating.
