Halima Cissé was 25 when doctors in Mali told her she was carrying seven babies. They arranged a flight to Morocco so she could get specialist care. At the Ain Borja clinic, doctors found two more nine in all.
On 4 May 2021, at just 30 weeks, she had a Caesarean. Five girls and four boys were born, each weighing between 500 grams and 1 kilogram, small enough that they went straight into incubators and intensive care.
Nineteen months later, all nine went home to Mali. They were the first nonuplets known to survive birth, a record later recognised by Guinness, and a case that looked close to impossible on paper.

The tip of the iceberg, which we will not ignore, glorify or excuse. A capital NO for recycling bandits and their projects. I resisted Moi, Kibaki, Kenyatta II, Raila as a Project, and Ruto. I’m not going to look the other way.
ODM supporters stream into Uhuru Park ahead of a candle lighting vigil commemorating the life and legacy of the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Ruto dropped a freestyle speech at a convention yesterday in New York and schooled African presidents not to beg the west for cash and instead negotiate deals to use the enormous resources in the continent for own dev. This is a class address 👏🏾
If you as a man is still excited by this nonsense you still have a long way to go in growing up and realigning your priorities. Do these women really have families?
🚨A KSh94 BILLION loan is now hanging in the balance, and the reason is shocking.
The World Bank wants Kenya to clean up its government payroll before releasing the money.
Why?
Audits have flagged 17,000+ suspected ghost workers and about KSh6.2 billion in suspected payroll fraud.
But here's the question nobody should ignore:
Who created these ghost workers?
Because a ghost worker doesn't put itself on payroll.
Someone created the record.
Someone approved it.
Someone processed the salary.
Someone received the money.
Now Kenya is being pushed to digitise and clean up the payroll system.
Good.
But digitising corruption won't stop corruption.
We need to know:
Who was paid? How much? For how long? Who approved it? And how much has been recovered?
KSh94 billion may be the immediate issue.
But the bigger question is:
How much has Kenya already lost through a payroll system that was supposed to be protecting taxpayers?
Without these answers I am afraid we won't fix anything. New ghosts will be created.
Before Timothy took his own life on August 21, he appeared to be putting his affairs in order.
The 50-year-old teacher took his family out for lunch at a restaurant in Thika and went shopping with them. There was nothing about his behaviour that suggested to his family that he was preparing to die.

This lady below is called Cherotich. She had just graduated from the Administration Police Training College that took place on 04/09/2026 after nine grueling months of training.
Barely 48 hours after her pass-out parade, while on her way home to celebrate with her family, she tragically lost her life in a road accident.
She never got to enjoy the uniform she worked so hard for.
May her soul Rest In Peace.
Former Kenyan athlete Beatrice Murugi, who was once a top athlete, is now going through a difficult time as she struggles to provide for herself and her 10-year-old child.
Murugi, who is originally from Nyahururu, now lives in Kerugoya, Kirinyaga County. She now struggles to pay rent for a house costing about KSh 1,000 and survives by picking tea and doing casual jobs to put food on the table.
Her journey in athletics once looked very promising. She went to Japan in 2009 because of her talent, where she completed her secondary education before beginning marathon training and turning professional in 2012.
During her athletics career, Murugi made millions. She used her earnings to improve the lives of her family. She bought land in Nyahururu, built a house for her mother, helped educate her siblings, and bought a lorry as an investment.
However, her fortunes changed after the lorry was involved in a fatal accident. The vehicle's insurance had expired, leaving Murugi to deal with the financial consequences of the accident.
In 2021, she developed a persistent stomach-bloating condition that has continued despite treatment. The condition is said to have affected her ability to work and live normally.
Today, the former athlete reportedly depends on manual work, including tea picking, to survive and support her child.

"I educated my husband from the 2nd year of university to his PHD level. I left him 30 years ago after he threatened to k!ll me. I left him with a professor's gown; now he is in a wheelchair, putting on Pampers. Who is the complainant? Why do you think he cannot come out? He should be investigated, not me. I'm innocent on the murder of Dr. Mutiso".
