We've always had SEL in schools. It was called recess, play, & classes like Music, Art, Physical Education.But they have been taken away or reduced to spend more time on testing, & then we wonder why students lack social/ emotional skills & misbehavior that comes with lack of it.

@BeniWeber From what I’ve gathered is they offered a big extension and he didn’t like it (maybe wanted closer to savants money) so they are allowing him to seek trades to see if other teams will pay him what he wants

Nobody had to trade for Deshaun Watson. No team had to prioritize theoretical wins over nearly two dozen accounts of sexual misconduct. There was no reason this had to be an inevitability. It shouldn’t take a suspension. Watson escaping even a modicum of accountability is gross.
