@theotfpodcast@inkygeez Nobody said WR numbers. 700+ and 6TDs isnt even top of the league TE numbers. But a 2nd round pick does have to put up numbers to be as valuable as WHERE he was selected. Using the 53rd pick on “the ability to be moved around in formation” and “versatility” is objectively bad.
@theotfpodcast@inkygeez If I’m thinking Chris Cooley then I better see some 700+ 6TD seasons. I mean that’s terrible value to draft a glorified full back. Don’t move the goal post… a 2nd rounder has to have offensive production or it’s not a good pick. We didn’t draft a guard.
@caden761882066@Itswizskins Wouldn’t be mad at it. But go look at the last 12 RBs on the Super Bowl winning team. Outside of Saquon none were top picks. I’m on the side of getting our QB a lethal target for the next 5 years.
@DOGE_Master157@Xommanders@Commanders Don’t wanna do that either. I’d rather take a real game changer when we have the chance. Hopefully we won’t be picking as low as 7 in the next 10 years.
@BrandonTheGod@Itswizskins The starting RB on the Super Bowl winning team last 12 years:
K9
Saquon
Pacheco
Pacheco
Cam Akers
Fournette
Damien Williams
Sony Michel
Legarrette Blount
Blount
CJ Anderson
Blount
Although I do value RB, I think the proof is obvious that we should value giving our QB receivers
@JPFinlayNBCS I appreciate the optimism JP. But when the team jacks up ticket prices, releases exorbitant ticket listings for the new stadium, and then sits on the largest cap in the NFL after going 5-12 with a star QB on a rookie contract, the fanbase has every right to be frustrated.
@michaelhaas3587@SkinsfanJW21@Commanders They watch the linebackers EVERYDAY in practice? Do you know how football works? You don’t just give them a chance because you drafted them. If they suck in practice why would you give them a chance in the game? And if they’re good in practice they’d have been playing already.
