Amy Siskind attacks Abdul El Sayed by claiming he is engaging in antisemtitism for pointing out his opponent Haley Stevens' AIPAC donations, claiming she is Jewish. But Stevens is not Jewish, she is Protestant. Despite multiple accounts, including my own, having pointed this out to her - Amy Siskind refuses to take her post down and post an apology. This is pure Islamophobia.

Accusing a Muslim-American of anti-semitism because he points out that his political opponent takes money from AIPAC is gross. Lying to act as if his attacks are bigoted because his opponent is Jewish when she clearly is not is unaccpetable.

Cynically using the spectre of antisemitism to tear down a Muslim candidate diminishes actual antisemitic bigotry and promotes Islamophobic tropes.

If Democrats think doubling down on Muslim-hate is the way to a 2026 and 2028 victory, I will refer them to the disaster that was the 2024 campaign.
