Some happy news to start the new year: The IDF has rescued a Yazidi girl held as a sex slave in Gaza for the past ten years and returned her to her family.

Fawzia was 11 years old when she was kidnapped by ISIS, a fate shared by approximately 10,000 other Yazidis (5,000 more were murdered).

She was sold to a resident of Gaza, and had been held there ever since. Last night, she was returned to her family in Sinjar, Iraq.

101 Israeli hostages are still waiting for freedom. But the freedom of another hostage is still a huge victory.

Jews, Yazidis, and all the other indigenous groups of the Middle East will not suffer forever under the fundamentalist Islamism that the world normalizes.

We will fight back and we will be free.

He was abandoned by his government as he had his arms blown off, taken hostage for nearly a year, and murdered right after his desperate parents appealed to the DNC.
