You know what shook me when I was Muslim?

Psalm 22. A song written by King David a thousand years before Jesus.

It opens: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” The exact words Jesus cried from the cross.

But it keeps going, and it describes a scene David never lived:

“They have pierced my hands and my feet.”

“All my bones are out of joint.”

“I can count all my bones — people stare and gloat over me.”

“They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing.”

David was never crucified. Crucifixion didn’t even exist in David’s time. It wouldn’t be invented for centuries.

So how does a man describe death by piercing hands and feet, and soldiers gambling for his clothes, a thousand years before it happened to Jesus exactly as written?

You know what really rattled me?

This was a photograph taken a thousand years early.

Pierced hands and feet. Gambling for the garments. Mocking crowds. Bones out of joint from hanging.

Every detail, at the foot of the cross, fulfilled.
Islam told me to doubt the crucifixion.

David described it in HD ten centuries before it happened.

You can’t erase an event that was prophesied in that much detail.

What my struggles taught me was that the solution to your problems actually lies within you. When men go into crisis, your first instinct is “I need a bail out”. If only i could get amount X. Truth is, it will never come which is what pushes men to depression. Instead? Pray & start working. One day at a time, don’t allow yourself to be idle.

They're in you.

Prayer is the medium of faith. Prayer allows you to take weight off your shoulders. Those who pray, then go about their day with more tenacity, unknowingly, it's they who have changed.

Is a person still saved even when they go back to their old self like say drunkenness or adultery? This happens after someone accepts the lord. Is that person still saved?

A lot of folks are confused about "Once Saved Always Saved," thinking they can lose their salvation if they don't keep the Sabbath or perform enough works. Look, if you could lose it, you would! But the Bible says it’s incorruptible seed (1 Peter 1:23). You were born into God’s family; you can’t be "un-born." Jesus said He gives us everlasting life and "no man" can pluck us out of His hand (John 10:28). If it could end, it wasn’t everlasting, and God doesn't lie!
​People always bring up Matthew 7:21-23 where Jesus tells people to "depart" from Him. But read the text! Those people weren't pointing to the blood of Christ; they were bragging about their own "wonderful works." Jesus didn't say, "I used to know you but you messed up." He said, "I NEVER knew you." They were never saved to begin with because they were trusting in their performance instead of the Savior. Quit trusting your works and start trusting the Finished Work of Christ. You aren't saved by your works, and you aren't "kept" by them either. Get saved, stay saved, and get busy for the Lord!
