It turns out that idling on the final ending screen of Donkey Kong Country 2 for 18 minutes causes the cutscene to glitch and play again. This was only discovered 30 years after the game's release, presumably due to no one bothering to wait on that screen for that long.
@imChemX I've had to unfollow some people over the years because all they post is negativity! I also think the way social media incentivizes engagement has made it too easy to just exclusively post outrage because that's what grabs attention and that's all these people want.

And that in particular is something that always struck me when these "liminal spaces" started becoming popular on the internet. There's a lot of these spaces I envisioned that I would mentally retreat to growing up, and suddenly a lot of them are spread out into the real world.
Backrooms was very good. It's a movie that is more experiential rather than something you connect the dots with at least on the initial viewing. It also struck me because I've mentally explored these "liminal spaces" in my head since I was a child in the 90s.
