When we're seeing high traffic or larger processing queues (Right now it looks like there's around an 8 min queue for new content processing) it can be delayed.

If you still aren't happy with your home server after some time, however, you can always move your account to another.

If you're on mobile we've found some apps are less reliable at coping with this than others hence issues some users have reported [2/2]

We've found that the majority of the issues we've seen are in the evenings under peak demand. We are currently increasing our server capacity to cope with this. Image uploads (and video) [1/2]

I'm not sure if it's any better at setting your pictures but we've had a lot of folks report it to be more stable and generally easier to use.
