this time a generative artwork called "Chiascuro Strata" with help from @skllzarmy and @GeminiApp

the artwork is an organic composition of raking light, contour ribbons, and paper texture using pure HTML5 Canvas

why do we “fix” footpaths that go viral and not the ones that are broken?

10 months ago, double road indiranagar got "fixed”. it has become deadly again. just 850 m of footpath has 21 serious problems.

so yesterday i recorded both sides. ran it through our footpath model: here’s what came out: (full walk link in comments)

> every spot that needs fixing, geotagged with a 360° view

> who's responsible for each one: name, department, contact number (call them)

imagine if every footpath in the city is recorded twice a month (more on this soon). GBA finds the problems instead of waiting for complaints.

When Bolsonaro was disgracefully invited as Chief Guest for our Republic Day Parade in 2020, several of us in Mumbai held a protest at Churchgate Station against an abandonment of “Indian values” by a government that turned a blind eye to his environmental destruction, his homophobia, his deep links to organised crime.

“Aarey, Amazon, queer ladhai, Modi-Bolsonaro bhai bhai” was the slogan coined at that protest. Today, as the son of one far-right bigot bites the dust in Brazil, much to the relief of so many who were terrorised under his father’s last regime, there is hope reignited for change across the world.

My mother was a watercolour painter who never sold her work. She passed away from cancer in July, and I’d like to bring her paintings onchain, with all proceeds going to cancer research.

I want to do this properly, with full transparency.
