Dibrugarh & Cotton University shifted regular classes to online mode till 31st January, citing detection of multiple COVID-19 cases in their campuses.

Cotton meanwhile, plans to hold offline exams for only UG 5th Sem till Feb 1st. (1/2)

For Assam HS students, even the syllabus is not reduced and we have to give board exams held from 15 march 2022 with full syllabus. #stopofflineexams #StudentsLivesMatter #ahsec 2/2

Students across Assam’s many Universities today, have called for a Twitter Storm seeking #StopOfflineExams and #StopOfflineClasses.

Many institutions have already shifted to online mode after multiple faculties, students tested positive.

This year too SEBA reduced syllabus of class 9,10 by 40% due to covid but AHSEC didn't even reduce 1% of the syllabus for class 12

Last year,when hs exams were supposed to be held 30% syllabus was reduced due to closure of colleges but this year,although colleges remained closed and started late sept., AHSEC will be holding HS board exam with full syllabus from MAR15
