This has got to stop. My teammates were victims of this heinous misconduct. I am so proud of all who spoke out. We need more accountability in woman’s soccer NOW https://t.co/oUmvYuTiTs
Appalling story about alleged sexual abuse by Brad Evans, the former women’s soccer coach at my hometown University of Toledo. According to @guardian, Evans still works in roles with Ohio Soccer Association, US Youth Soccer and US Soccer. https://t.co/zLKUVvTHtQ
I was groomed, humiliated, manipulated, & sexually assaulted.
I was not the only one.

@itsmeglinehan@guardian_sport What is the value of Safe Sport & background checks if they don't prevent people like this from getting jobs? As risk management strategies, clearly there are not effective. All of the fallout from various abusers in the NWSL over the past year would seem to prove the point.
@josh3williams@asalem6 We’ve known this for years, and many of us have never understood why the @USWNT never gave @asalem6 a look. Seems like her brain, style and ability would have helped them over the past decade.
