ทวิตนี้อาจจะยาวหน่อยนะครับ แต่ผมว่ามันเป็นหนึ่งในเคสที่น่าสนใจที่สุดของ Polymarket ช่วงนี้

เมื่อคืนผมนั่งไถ X อ่านข่าวและหา market แปลกๆบน Polymarket ปกติจนได้ไปเจอ market นี้: "MicroStrategy sells any Bitcoin by May 31, 2026?"

สิ่งที่น่าสนใจคือ...

ตลาดมันจบไปแล้ว (May) แต่จนถึงตอนนี้ก็ยังไม่ resolve

ณ ตอนนั้นราคา NO อยู่แถวๆ 99.9c แต่พอไปขุดขุ้ยหาข้อมูลเพิ่ม กลับเจอว่า MicroStrategy ขาย BTC จริงในช่วง 26-31 May แต่ประกาศข้อมูลดังกล่าววันที่ 1 June

หลังจากนั้น Polymarket มีการเขียนกฎเพิ่มว่า หลักฐานที่จะใช้ตัดสินต้องมาจากประกาศทางการของ MicroStrategy หรือข้อมูล On-chain เท่านั้น

อ้าว... แล้วแบบนี้มันควรออกฝั่งไหน?

ในมุมมองของผมเข้าใจทั้ง 2 ฝั่งเลยนะ

ฝั่ง NO: ตลาดจบไปแล้วตอน 31 May ถ้าพึ่งมาประกาศวันที่ 1 June ก็ไม่นับดิวะ
ฝั่ง YES: แต่คำถามมันถามว่าขายภายในเดือน May หรือไม่ ไม่ได้ถามว่าประกาศภายในเดือน May ปะวะ

ยิ่งไปกว่านั้น ผมสังเกตว่า Market End Date ของตลาดนี้ถูกตั้งไว้ถึง 1 Jan 2027 ซึ่งทำให้ผมเอนเอียงไปทาง YES มากกว่า

ตอนนั้นเลยลองหยอดเล่นๆ ที่ราคา 0.1c แล้วก็ไปบอกเพื่อนๆ ในห้องว่าผมมีของอยู่

ตอนนี้ราคาแถวๆ 0.8c แล้ว 8x ไปเรียบร้อย

ส่วนตัวผมลงไปแค่ $5 เท่านั้น แต่ถ้าสุดท้าย resolve เป็น YES จริง จะได้กลับมาประมาณ $5,000 หรือประมาณ 1,000x

แน่นอนว่าประเด็นหลักไม่ใช่กำไร $5,000 สิ่งที่น่าสนใจกว่าคือ ตอนนี้บน X คนเริ่มด่า Polymarket กันหนักมาก หลายคนมองว่าการเพิ่มกฎหลังตลาดจบเป็นเรื่องที่ไม่แฟร์ บางคนก็มองว่ากฎใหม่ไม่ได้เปลี่ยน outcome อยู่ดี

สุดท้ายแล้วไม่ว่าคำตอบจะออก YES หรือ NO ผมคิดว่า Polymarket เสียหายไปพอสมควรแล้ว

เพราะสิ่งที่ prediction market ต้องมีมากที่สุดคือ "ความชัดเจนและความจริง"

และเคสนี้สะท้อนปัญหาเรื่อง resolution ได้ชัดมากโดยเฉพาะระบบที่ต้องพึ่ง UMA ในการตัดสินข้อพิพาท

ผมยังมองว่า ณ scale ของ Polymarket วันนี้ บริษัทควรเริ่มสร้าง resolution framework ของตัวเองได้แล้ว แทนที่จะโยนทุกอย่างให้ third-party ตัดสิน

หลังจากนี้คงต้องรอดูกันว่าตลาดนี้จะจบฝั่งไหน แต่ไม่ว่าคำตอบจะเป็น YES หรือ NO

ผมคิดว่า Polymarket จำเป็นต้องปรับปรุงทั้งการเขียนกฎ และการสื่อสารกับผู้ใช้อย่างจริงจัง

ไม่งั้นความเสียหายระยะยาวอาจใหญ่กว่ามูลค่าของ market นี้มาก

ทุกคนคิดว่าตลาดนี้ควรออก YES หรือ NO?
