‘Relentless hope’ a beautiful and captivating message shared by #Winnipeg’s Poet Laureate Chimwemwe Undi at Mayor @ScottGillingham’s inaugural State of the City address. I truly believe that together we can transform our communities, reshape our future.

Moderated a couple of @mateMTSmb sessions this afternoon, and did that thing I love... took something from it, put it in my notebook, and it's coming out as something different...
We recognize the resilience of Indigenous people and we will continue to make a conscious effort to listen to the stories of those who have been hurt with open hearts and minds, educate ourselves and others, and motivate others towards acts of reconciliation and action. 2/2

Thank you @Jessicadumas01 for this message today. I think my students could use it too, so it will be waiting for them tomorrow at @cjsLRSD Thank you @mateMTSmb for another great #MTSPDday2021 ❤️
Can’t put people in a box, can’t put teachers in a box… can’t let other opinions define you. Is there a place in your life where you’re holding yourself back… you can find the courage to seek your best self. Jessica Dumas @Jessicadumas01 @mbteachers #matemb2021#MTSPDday2021
Brett and Jay..acknowledge the “roadblocks”, embrace them, challenge them, revel in them, shape teaching around them… we can’t look at students as objects… #matemb2021#MTSPDday2021 @mbteachers
How we use time in class has an impact on student engagement outside of class. All readers need access to books, time to read, and time to talk with their peers and their teacher. -@pennykittle #MTSPDDay2021#MATEMB2021@mateMTSmb
